You don’t find the painting,

                                             It finds you.

I go for a synthesization of everything (in degrees)

I’ve seen before

in this same approach

I paint to other paintings,

what has happened in this place before—

a place of performance.

I’m not sure that I really can get it

 all

how do you know what form it will take

how do you know this is the right approach

The problem for me is how to keep the approach

 On the straight and narrow

And still hit its mark as a painting.

Painting is a practical thing for me.  It’s something to do,

Besides watching television. It gives you a sense of accomplishment.

Where would I be without it.

I paint for fun. For me painting is a little bit of a visual puzzle,

about how things are perceived.

A little bit of work, a little bit of commerce.
